Career Preferences. Information about what kind of internships, jobs and/or employers you prefer.

For Recruiters/Employers this may be:

Account Information. When you start using our Service, we require certain information like your first name, last name, email address and job title.

On top of this, you may otherwise choose to provide us information when you fill in a form, conduct a search, update or add information to your account, respond to surveys or use other features of the platform.

2.2 Automatically collected Information
When you use the Service and/or Platform, as a User or as a Visitor, we automatically collect information, including Personal Information, like:

Geo-location Information. 

Information about your precise or approximate location as determinedthrough data such as your IP address to offer your an optimal experience.

Usage Information. Information about your interactions with the platform such as the pages or content you view, your searches for events, internships, placement or jobs and other actions on the platform.

To operate, protect, improve and optimise the Platform and experience, and personalise and customise your experience (such as making job suggestions and ranking search results), we conduct profiling based on your interactions with the Platform, your search history and your profile information and preferences. If you provide us with your contacts’ information, we may process this information to facilitate your referral invitations.

3.2 Perform Analytics

Perform analytics through Google Analytics to measure and evaluate access to and
trafficonthe the Website and create user navigation reports in order to improve and optimise the Platform. Research social, economic and/or labour market trends, like what type of study background are most in demand or what the preferences of job seekers are when it comes to finding a job.
Produce aggregated insights for specific parties such as which universities they are most popular at, how their jobs have been performing on the Platform and share these in a dashboard or a report. These aggregated insights do not identify you.

3.3 Provide Customer Service

Provide customer service and support, like resolving issues (i.e. bugs). Send you service or support messages, updates, reminders, security alerts, account notifications and/or other communications. You may change your communication preferences at any time, but please be aware that you cannot opt-out of receiving service messages, including security and legal notices.

4. To whom we disclose Information

4.1 Sharing of job seeker information with your university

In order to provide the full effective service in partnership with your university, we may share certain information including personal information with your university. This can include your activity on the platform, jobs applied, saved and May My Journey statistics. 

4.2 Sharing of Job Seeker Information with Employers

In order to provide the Service and fulfil the proposition that we offer to you as a Job Seeker (as set out in our Terms of
Service) we may share certain information, including Personal Information with Recruiters.

When you apply with an Employer on by clicking “Apply Now” or a similar button.

When you save the Opportunity of an Employer by clicking “Save this job” or a similar button.

4.3 Compliance with law

We may disclose your information, including Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws, in response to a facially valid court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies.
